DRM.info launched and Day Against DRM
3. October 2006 – 13:48 bySeen this on netzpolitik.org: Today the Free Software Foundation Europe launched DRM.info. The site will be a platform for discussion on DRM and copyright systems in general. In this case the founders don’t equal DRM=Digital Rights Management but DRM=Digital Restriction Management. Damn right. I think it’s a great effort and I really hope the site will help making people aware of what DRM really means: giving control of what you see or listen to to some major companies. Spread the word!
Also today is the Day Against DRM. Another effort to protest against DRM. There are and will be many online and offline actions. Click the link above and see what you can do to help.
