Moreno - Imagination EP [Digibeat Music]

Scottish netlabel and SC Street Team affiliate Digibeat Music released their fifth release on Sep 27. This time three tracks by Hungarian producer Moreno. And what a great release it is.
Imagination starts off with some heavy drum work, really good beats accompanied by a deep bassline. On the second track, Midsummer Night’s Rain we see Moreno in a more laid back mood. Lush beats, some jazzy sounds but far away from coffee table shenanigans. Actually old Wax Doctor comes to mind. Alone is in a similar mood as Imagination and rounds off a mighty fine release. Though some might argue the tracks sound like 1996 Metalheadz or Reinforced it’s refreshing to hear those sounds and beats today.
