Just too often I read about supposedly cool new web services and even see screenshots but sometimes I just cannot imagine how the services actually work and how it could be beneficial to me. I read the FAQ, take the tour but still I am lost. I am always happy if there is a screencast. Suddenly the words in reviews make sense and I can see how it works.
So I strongly encourage new companies to offer a screencast.
Though if there is none there is still hope for people like me: Screeniac. They provide screencasts, mostly done by Molly McDonald, on many new web services. The screencasts are neither too short or too long, show most of the service’s details and Molly’s report is easy to follow and understand.
I have discovered Screeniac while looking for reports on Stikkit after mentioning it on this blog. So if you want to know more about Stikkit see the screencast.
Screeniac is really a great service and as say say: Screenshots Suck! Screencasts Rulio!
