After a longer break Plainaudio return with their 20th release today. This time it is a three track affair by label head Iaka. And as you can expect from Plainaudio it is no disappointment.
Rumpelkiste is a techy and sometimes almost sterile sounding tune which uses some rather unusual dark sounds, though it is still floor compatible. To me this sounds like the soundtrack to a film about an abandoned spaceship. Will there be a new Alien film the next few months? Very futuristic in any case.
Zappenduster starts as a nice little stepper which evolves into a more complex tune. It is also rather dark sounding with very precise beats. Great tune!
Noloop ends this release. It is an older tune which is also released on a compilation 12″ on German label Alphacut. Very aggressive, chopped beats, almost militant in execution.
