OpenID Phishing Problem
21. January 2007 – 15:55 byOver the weekend there has been a very thought provoking discussion on how OpenID could help luring people to phishing sites. This is a very serious threat and hopefully OpenID providers are aware of it and will find ways to solve the problem (possible solutions are already described in the discussion).
Besides addressing the problem of phishing the discussion is also illustrating how authentication with OpenID actually works. Worth reading, I think.
