Music 2.0 Directory
24. January 2007 – 01:39 byJason Herskowitz has started an applaudable and interesting project called Music 2.0 Directory. While it is still in early stages of development it could serve as a comprehensive resource of everything dealing with music online.
Categories like Music Services (iTunes, Napster, eMusic), Music Standards (audio formats like MP3 and OGG), Music Meta Data (All Music Guide, Gracenote), and many more help to keep track of what’s going on in the world of music and the web.
Though I guess Jason still needs some more people who want to help out writing descriptions of the various services and categories. It seems to be easy to edit and add pages. So if you are interested and have some spare time, just drop by and see what you can do to let this project grow and become successful.
By the way, Jason also runs a great blog which deals with similar topics.
One Response to “Music 2.0 Directory”
While I applaud Jason’s effort here - i never really liked wikis all that much. I have created Rocketsurgeon’s Music 2.0 Directory using blog tools . This approach has some benefits including category browsing, user comments, user ratings, and more. There are already over 200 entries in the directory. Check it out at:
