Admittedly I haven’t payed much attention to Leipzig, Germany based label 1 Bit Wonder yet. It is one of those labels that are on the back of my mind but I never get around to actually download and listen to their releases. It is just the third release of the label I have downloaded so far.
This is Sven Tasnadi’s second release for 1 Bit Wonder and judging by the title of the release the ten tracks featured here are a collection of older and probably some newer tracks by him. But that’s just guesswork.
Anyway, they cover a wide spectrum of Techno, from more ambient sounds on the first track La Gomera to minimal and quirky tracks like Wuchtbrumme mit Hasskappe (hilarious title, by the way, though any translation would ruin the fun). There are also two remixes, one by label head Steffen Bennemann and the second one by Juno6 who unlike his release on Kreislauf delivers a more minimal Techno track here.
This is a rather diversified and enjoyable release. I will add it to my playlist.
