Updates: Megite, ReverbNation

30. January 2007 – 23:34 by Carsten Pötter

Megite has been busy updating and improving its service this month. While working on auto-discovery of new blogs and the title extraction algorithm Megite lists much more related items to each thread than its competitors now. So if you want to know more about a topic you can directly explore from Megite and don’t have to rely on a blog search engine like Technorati and Sphere anymore
It is also possible to see all headlines on each page without scrolling down the page now. Just have a look at the Browse Headlines section on the right side the page.
I think some useful improvements have been made to the service. Tailrank and Techmeme watch out!

ReverbNation tweaked the fans’ profiles a little bit and added some new tabs. There is a Summary tab now which displays recently played tracks, recent friends, as well as your favourite artists.
And if you want to know which tracks you played already and if anyone actually clicked your TunePaks you will love the TunePaks and Stats tabs. I love ReverbNation! :)
