Train your Brain

Sitting in front of your computer monitor day and night trying to get the latest buzz in the blogosphere? Well, then at least take a few minutes off and start training your brain.

A website which helps exercising your brain is Lumos Labs. I have stumbled across it on Ian Kennedy’s blog.

Lumos Labs is a fairly new website which offers some simple flash games which help you exercise your brain in a playful manner; more specifically they help to improve your memory, processing speed, attention, and cognitive control. The games are rather short and won’t consume much of your precious time. You get scores for each game so you have control if you get better or not every time you play them; though you should get better results.

Lumos Labs even has some serious scientifical background. Their advisory board is crowded with neuroscientists from Stanford and other universities. Give it a try, it’s free.

  2. Thanks for stopping by Flashpoint. Glad you liked Lumos - let me practice a bit more than I’ll challenge you to a match!

  3. I guess you already have more practice than me by now. It’s probably me who has to go to the training camp. ;)
