Show Yourself Widget

Aggregation of users’ profiles on social media services is done by various sites these days. As a bonus those sites offer more additional services and features like OpenID’s, search,… Though if you want a quick and easy way to publicly display your accounts on your blog or MySpace have a look at Show Yourself.

Show Yourself is a widget that just does this; there are no other features. It seems to be a non-commercial product and it is supporting 25 services at the moment; add your user name or screen name and you’re done. Also you can decide if the images to the various networks are hosted by Show Yourself or on your own server which is probably the preferable option because you aren’t dependant on another server’s uptime.

It looks like this:

Update March 18: It’s update time once again. Dustin Bachrach has updated the Show Yourself widget. New services, Skype and AIM integration (see the image above), and the possibility to add every service you like. Looks really good.
