In 2004 a great little documentation got famous in the Drum and Bass community: Nate Harrison’s Can I Get An Amen video. I almost forgot about it until yesterday when Anil Dash posted it again on his blog.
It’s an awesome video explaining the famous break which was part of Amen, Brother, a b-bide by soul band The Winston, released in 1969. Also Harrison talks about sampling, copyright, and gives some short audio examples. Highly recommended.
