I've had a quick look at it. It's very basic, isn't it? Events have to be submitted by email and not many features at all (sending event notifications by email and sms). So far it is just focusing on the Münster, Osnabrück, and Bielefeld region.

I'm looking forward to the new features. Like I have mentioned, I think wevent has a lot of potential. :)

Hey Carsten,

thanks for your nice report about wevent :)
We've added a few features, for instance it is now possible to upload your avatar at wevent - if you don't, we'll check for a gravatar.
In the near future photo uploading will be available, too.

We've also got some interesting things about microformats on our todo, keep watching it ;)

Bye,
Dennis
