Some great news on OpenID today. First, Sun Microsystems has announced the launch of an OpenID server for its more than 34,000 employees “In order to explore the boundaries of OpenID as a trust system”.
This is rather exciting because it is the first time a big company is offering OpenID to its employees instead of its customers. Sun can test if it’s manageable on a larger scale and if it is secure enough to run it in a corporate environment. [via Scott Kveton]
Also there is a great interview with Dick Hardt of Sxip on Germany’s Elektrischer Reporter video blog today. The interview is in English, of course, so you can all listen to it and understand it.
