Quickly Organise Life with Todoist

todoist There are plenty of to-do lists and task managers on the internet and it is a hard task itself choosing the right one for yourself. After testing several applications I decided to use Remember The Milk because it’s rather easy to use and provides a multitude of features (also see my review here).

Though sometimes Remember The Milk seems to be not the right choice because of its many features which you probably don’t need. Why use Photoshop when you just want to eliminate some red eyes on photos or why start MS Word when all you want to do is writing down a simple text? It’s the same with to-do’s. You want to use a task manager to increase your productivity, right? So if you’re looking for an easy to use but still powerful task manager have a look at Todoist.

Todoist has a very clean interface with lots of whitespace and it seems to be too simple at first. So before you start using it properly I encourage you to watch the screencasts and you will be amazed how powerful it really is. I just wish the screencasts were available before signing up, so more people could catch a glimpse of the features. There are also lists of keyboard shortcuts, ways to format text, date queries, and even an API and Gmail integration. You probably need just 15 minutes to watch the screencasts and read the lists and you will be ready to use Todoist to its full potential.

I strongly recommend checking it out if you intend to manage simple lists but also projects which are not too complex.
