Fixed: Two Problems with the Blog

Tonight my favourite admin has sent me a screenshot of this blog from last Friday. Unfortunately it had been defaced by some Turkish script kiddies and I didn’t realise it. Ouch! Seems like the blog looked a little bit different for a few hours (see the screenshot below). As you can guess it was a security hole in the admin software of the server which has been fixed by now, of course.

Also another problem has occured. I have transferred the domain name to a new registrar; that transfer has been completed today. Guess who forgot to update the DNS entries? So the blog wasn’t available for about 90 minutes tonight. I am sorry for any inconvenience but at least I have learned some new web stuff today.
