Company Startup Schwag is offering geeks at least one t-shirt/month of a new startup if they subscribe to the service and spend $14.95 plus shipping each month; that will be $25.40 for Europe. Is this a good idea?
Let’s say it will work, then I will have at least twelve new t-shirts each year. Though I don’t know what they look like, I don’t know anything about the quality and I don’t even know the companies. And do I need twelve new tees? I probably can’t wear them at work so I have to buy shirts, tees, and whatnot anyway.
I don’t say it is a completely stupid idea but really, are some people that geeky?
